Patricia Ann McLear, age 68 of Greenville and formerly of New Madison, Ohio passed away at 4:33 PM Tuesday January 4, 2022 at the Brethren Retirement Community of Greenville. Patricia was born January 3, 1954 in Xenia, Ohio and the daughter of the late Lowell and Janice Ruth (Geeting) McLear.
Patricia’s life was enriched by family, friends and numerous organizations, including Darke County Center for the Arts, concerts in the park, Red Hatters and the EUM Church.
She worked for 45 years in the Laundry Department at the Brethren Retirement Community and became a resident after retirement. The family greatly appreciates the love and care the staff of the BRC provided our Sister.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Charles McLear.
Patricia is survived by brothers and sister-in-law Dr. Ronald McLear and Dr. Robert (Jean) McLear; nephews Justin McLear, Aaron (Amelia) McLear, Adam (Sara) McLear, Jared (Mary) McLear and Walker McLear as well as great nieces and nephews Mollie, Ella, Emily, Maverick, Declan and Sloane McLear.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Otterbein Cemetery Butler Township Darke County, Ohio.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the Brethren Retirement Community’s Resident’s Aid Fund 750 Chestnut Street Greenville, Ohio, 45331.
