Expense Requests: Darke County Recorder & Veterans

Fixing of Date (REBID): Village of Hollansburg, OH – Elm St. Sidewalk Construction (Bids due Sept. 20, 2022 – by 1:00 p.m.)

Sealed bids will be received by the Darke County Board of Commissioners (Contracting Authority) on behalf of the Village of Hollansburg, Ohio (Owner) at the Darke County Board of Commissioners, Administration Building, 520 South Broadway, Greenville, Ohio, 45331 until 1:00 P.M. (local time) on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project known as Elm Street Sidewalk Construction. The bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud during the Commissioner’s regular meeting session on the same day beginning at 1:30 P.M. The work consists of the replacement of approximately 4,900 S.F. of sidewalk.


The Contract Documents including Specifications may be examined or obtained from the Darke County Grants Office located at the Darke County Administration Building, 520 South Broadway, Greenville, Ohio 45331 (937.548.7362). An electronic version of the Contract Documents is available at no charge by contacting Sally Keiser at skeiser@co.darke.oh.us or a hard copy can be obtained by visiting the Darke County Grants Office. Bids will only be accepted from bidders who have obtained the Contract Documents from the Darke County Grants Office and are therefore registered as a planholder.


Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code or a certified check in the amount of 10% of the Bid. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the Proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The Owner intends and requires that the project be completed no later than October 31, 2022.
