Robert F. “Bob” Williamson, age 85 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 7:00 PM Wednesday August 24, 2022 at his residence in Greenville. Bob was born January 4, 1937 in Union City, Indiana and the son of the late Thurman and Nellie (Burton) Williamson.
Bob was retired as the former owner of Williamson Insurance Agency of Greenville. He was a 50-year member of Greenville Masonic Lodge #140, a member of the Greenville Elks Lodge and the First Methodist Church. Bob was an avid golfer, loved to travel and was considered a servant at heart, as he was always doing for others.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Robert Williamson II in 2011, daughter Julie Emmons in 1983, Brother Gary Williamson and Sister Janice Parrott.
Bob is survived by his wife Jane T. (Carr) Williamson of Greenville. They were married May 29, 1983. Also children Jeffrey (Vicky) Williamson of Morrow, Ohio, Joel Williamson of Dayton and Shane (Holly) Williamson of West Palm Beach Florida; step children Timothy (Pam) McNutt of Dallas, Texas and Carol (Jim) Wilson of Nashville, Tennessee; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday August 29, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Alan Knoke officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 9:00 AM until time of the services in the funeral home.
