Rygh E. Fortkamp, age 23 of Minster, Ohio, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at his home in Minster. He was born on February 10, 2000 to Edward Fortkamp & Melissa Buening.
His mother survives with her husband William Roche in Greenville and his father and his wife April survive in New Weston. He is also survived by his sister Cheyanne Fortkamp and brother William “Liam” Roche, grandparents: Gary & Juanita Buening, Cassella and Eugene & Grace Fortkamp, Rossburg and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his aunt Christine Moorman.
Rygh was a veteran of the US Navy, and worked at Machine Concepts, Minster. He loved fishing, hunting, horseback riding and anything to do with the outdoors.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, April 1, 2023 at St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry, Ohio. Burial with full Military Honors to follow in St. Henry Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry on Friday, March 31, from 3 to 8 PM and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Saturday.
