Stephen L. Peters, 63, of Hollansburg, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 5, 2024.
He was born on August 16, 1960, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late George and Wilma Peters.
Steve is survived by his children, Jeremy Peters of Greenville, and Jessica Peters of Greenville; his grandchildren, Corey, Jade, William, and Raiden; his siblings, Pam (David) McCoy of Brown County, Indiana, Vernon (Pat) Peters of New Madison, and Mike (Ruth) Peters of Trotwood; and numerous nieces and nephews. Steve is also survived by his beloved dogs, Taka, Zeus, and Taz
Steve owned and operated his own painting business, Steve’s Painting Service, for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed going fishing and tending to his vegetable garden. Steve had an immense passion for music. Oftentimes he would write, develop and record his own songs to share with others. Steve could play almost every instrument, however the guitar was his favorite. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed entertaining them with his music.
A celebration of Steve’s life will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.
Guests may visit with Steve’s family on Saturday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
