The Darke County Animal Shelter has 5 new dogs available for adoption.
They got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.
The Shelter’s visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday only by appointment. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645.
Sissy came to us as an owner surrender. We are told Sissy is 2-year-old female Shepherd Mix. Sissy’s owner told us that Sissy is great with kids, cats, and dogs! We have been told that Sissy loves treats, will soak up all the attention you want to give her. Sissy has shown us she loves to play. Sissy is learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Sissy did great for bath and her exam where she weighs in at 57 lbs. Levi came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Levi is a 2-year-old, intact male Terrier Mix. Levi is super friendly boy who just wants to be loved on. Levi shown us that he knows how to sit, shake and loves treats. Levi is learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t seem mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Levi did great for bath and exam where he weighs in at 71.2 lbs.Jade came to us as an owner surrender. We are told Jade is a 8 1/2-year-old sprayed female Shepherd Mix. Jade’s owner told us that Jade is good with kids, dogs and was an outside dog. Jade is not a fan of cats or small animals. Jade has shown us that she knows how to sit and shake. Jade is a very sweet girl who is a little shy at first but does warm up over time. Jade loves treats and learning to walk on a leash. Jade did great for bath, nail trim and exam where she weighs in at 84.5 lbs.Louise came to us as a stray so our knowledge about her is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Louise is a 6-year-old female Doberman Mix. Louise is very sweet girl who just loves attention. Louise has shown us she knows how to sit, shake and loves treats. Louise learning to walk on a leash. Louise is not a fan of other dogs. Louise did great for her bath, nail trim and exam where she weighed in at 61.6 lbs.Buster came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited and we only know from what we have observed! We believe Buster is a 4-year-old neutered male Great Pyrenees Mix. Buster knows how to sit, shake and loves treats! Buster is a very sweet boy who is excited for his new furever home! Buster doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Buster did great for his bath, nail trim and exam where he weighs in at 69.2 lbs.
