The Animal Shelter has two new dogs available for adoption

The Darke County Animal Shelter has 2 new dogs available for adoption.

They got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.

The Shelter’s visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday only by appointment. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645.

Richard came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Richard is a 2-year-old, intact male Wirehaired Terrier Mix. Richard is very sweet boy who just loves attention. Richard has shown us that he knows sit and loves treats. Richard learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Richard did great for nail trim and exam where he weighs in at 23lbs.
Tony came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Tony is a 8-month-old, intact male Terrier Mix. Tony is super friendly boy who just wants to be loved on. Tony shown us that he knows how to sit, shake and loves treats Tony is learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t seem mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Tony did great for nail trim and exam where he weighs in at 50.2 lbs.
