Timothy L. “Tim” Branson age 63, of New Madison passed away at 8:55 pm Friday, July 8, 2022, at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana.
Tim was born December 14, 1958, in Greenville to Veeda (Brock) Branson of Greenville and the late Paul Branson. In addition to his father, Tim was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Brynn Graham.
In addition to his mother, Tim is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sheryl L. (Weimer) Branson; daughters & sons-in-law, Stephanie & Levi Whitehead of Winchester, Indiana, Kylie & Seth Graham of Greenville, and Leslie & Zach Thompson of Newark; grandchildren, Ellie, Finley and Nash Whitehead, Dax and Wes Graham, and Connor, Harvey, and Adaline Thompson; brother & sister-in-law, Mark & Jean Branson of Greenville; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Norman & Barbara Weimer of New Madison; sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Beverly & Joe Shumaker of Greenville, Bonnie & Emerson Behee of New Madison and Tina & Joe Clevenger of Union City, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tim owned and operated The Timberwood Co. in New Madison for over 25 years. Tim was an excellent craftsman and was able to find a solution to any problem that came up. He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. Tim enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, shooting trap, tinkering in his shop working on projects and along with his wife, their annual trip to Gatlinburg.
A celebration of Tim’s life will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Eric Laux officiating. Burial will follow in Greenmound Cemetery in New Madison. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the funeral home.
