Union City PD makes significant arrests in Methamphetamine trafficking case

The Union City Police Department is pleased to announce the successful apprehension of two individuals involved in illicit drug activities within our community. Daniel Mounce and Paige Roberts, both residents of Union City, Indiana, were arrested on January 29, 2024 for Dealing in Methamphetamine, a Level 4 Felony.

The arrests followed an extensive investigation conducted by the dedicated investigators of the Union City Police Department, aimed at combatting illegal narcotics in our community. The department remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of Union City residents by actively pursuing and apprehending those responsible for drug-related offenses.

Daniel Mounce and Paige Roberts were taken into custody after evidence gathered during the investigation pointed to their involvement in the distribution of methamphetamine. The Union City Police Department worked tirelessly to build a case against the individuals, demonstrating the department’s determination to address the serious issue of drug trafficking in our community.

Dealing in Methamphetamine is a Level 4 Felony under Indiana law, reflecting the severity of the charges against Mounce and Roberts. Both individuals are currently in custody at the Randolph County Sheriff’s Jail, awaiting court proceedings.
