The Darke County Animal Shelter has 2 new dogs available for adoption.
They got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.
The Shelter’s visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday only by appointment. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645.
Wizz came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Wizz is a 1-year-old, intact male Husky/ Shepherd Mix. Wizz is a happy boy who loves to play ball and soaks up all the attention. Wizz has shown us he knows how to sit shake and laydown! Wizz walks well on leash and doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Wizz did great for his bath, nail trim and exam where he weighed in at 55.7lbsSkampi came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited, and what we do know is only from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Skampi is a 3 year-old, intact male Terrier Mix. Skampi is a happy boy who loves attention. Skampi has shown us he knows how to sit, laydown and sometimes likes treats! Skampi is learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Skampi did great for his bath, nail trim and exam where he weighed in at 65 lbs.
