Betty G. Flommersfeld age 95, of Greenville went to be with the Lord at 4:20 pm on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville.
Betty was born December 20, 1925, in Darke County to the late Chelsea & Emily (Staight) Lorton. In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, True Flommersfeld on July 31, 1982, whom she married October 15, 1946; and brothers & sister-in-law, Roscoe Lorton and John & Iris Hathaway.
Betty is survived by her children, Gaye (Robert) Claudy of Greenville and Jody Flommersfeld of Greenville; grandchildren, Rob (Kim) Claudy, Josh (Cassie) Claudy and Liz (Josh) Baughmann; and great-grandchildren, Layne, Sophia, Braylon, Avery, Brody, Ian, Kevin and Caelen.
Betty owned Rapid printing in Greenville. She attended EUM Church in Greenville. Betty enjoyed being outdoors and watching sports.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Greenville Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Darke County Youth for Christ or Build a Dream/Guatemala EUM Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville.
