Janet Helen (Krebs) Janson, age 88 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 20th, 2021 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Piqua, Ohio. She was born on August 25,1933, the daughter of Albert and Helen (Tyjewski) Krebs of Cleveland, Ohio.
She married Robert E. Janson on January 7, 1961. They were married for 37 years before he preceded her in death on September 14, 1998. Janet was also preceded in death by daughter, Linda Janet Marie Janson on July 9,1985 and son, Richard Emil Janson on October 1, 2014.
Janet was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and to her children and grandchildren.
Janet is survived by her daughter Carol Ann Janson of Versailles, son David Wayne (Melinda) Janson of Piqua, grandsons Ian Richard Janson, Joseph Robert Janson, Dustin Robert Janson and granddaughter Rachael Elizabeth Janson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 26th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 233 W. Third St., Greenville, Ohio with Father Matt Feist as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio. Prayers for the family will be recited at 8:45 AM Tuesday in the funeral home.
