Clark H. Wolfe Jr.

Clark H. Wolfe Jr., 74 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday June 29, 2022 at 8:06 PM at his residence.  Clark was born September 10, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late Clark and Sally (Howe) Wolfe Sr. 

Clark was an Eagle Scout and earned the Boy Scouts God & Country Medal, he served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War in which he earned U.S. Army Medals for his Distinguished Military Service, 1968-1992: 82nd Airborne Div Patch, US Army Vietnam Patch Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Air Medal, Vietnam Wound Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal

Ribbons: Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Air Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Vietnam Svc Medal Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal, Nat’l Defense Svc Medal, Vietnam Svc Medal Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Army Overseas Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal Colorado Nat’l Guard Meritorious Conduct, Army NCO Professional Development, Army Svc Ribbon Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross, NATO Yugoslavia, Airborne and Air Assault Commemorative Medal, US Army Parachutist Badge (Army Jump Wings)  South Vietnam Jump Wings, Air Assault Badge.

Clark was a Jack-Of-All-Trades; he was a preacher, counselor, singer, he played guitar and he even met Johnny Cash and Elvis.

Clark is preceded in death by his parents; his wife:  Mary Elizabeth Wolfe on September 20, 2008 whom he married February 22, 1975; his sons:  Jeremy and Alexander Wolfe; brother and sister in law:  Joe and Flo Gard; his sisters and brother in law:  Claire Wolfe, and Dorothy and Leonard Grzymala.

Clark is survived by his sons and daughters in law:  Jason and Robin Wolfe, Alan Wolfe and his girlfriend Felecia, Simon and Tina Wolfe, and Roger and Cindy Wolfe; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held on Thursday July 7, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Dennis Martin officiating.  Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery in Christiansburg, Ohio.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Thursday July 7, 2022 at the funeral home.  Veterans Honors will be conducted by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard.
