Hugh William Boomershine, 77 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday July 1, 2022 at 10:03 AM at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. Hugh was born May 27, 1945 in Greenville, Ohio, the son of the late Delbert L. and Treva M. (Norris) Boomershine.
Hugh served his country in the Army National Guard. He worked for 32 years at Benchmark Homes, in Brookville, retiring in 1995.
Hugh was a member of East Zion Church, Greenville Moose Lodge, and the Greenville Eagles.
Hugh is preceded in death by his parents.
Hugh is survived by his children and spouse: Robert and Sedena Boomershine of Greenville, Lisa and Jason Wilson of Auburndale, Florida, his grandchildren: Faith Reigle, Maggie Reigle, Dalton Boomershine, Ashley Boomershine, Anna Wilson, Cloey Wolford; his great grandchildren: Chase, Brooklyn, Joshua; his sisters and brothers in law: Gloria Howell of New Paris, Ohio, Susan K. and Glenn Turner of Arcanum, Ohio, and Jane R. Koger of Greenville, Ohio.
Services will be held on Friday July 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
