APRIL 6, 1930 – JANUARY 17, 2024
Genevieve C. Robinson, age 93 of Versailles, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 17, 2024 at Ayden Health in Greenville, Ohio at 12:38 PM. Born in Dayton, Ohio on April 6, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Oscar & Bessie (Harshman) Detrick. Genevieve was a graduate of the Wilber Wright High School in Dayton, Ohio. Throughout her life she was a homemaker, and worked on the farm. Later in life she worked at several local grocery stores in the area. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, baking and was a wonderful cook. Genevieve was a hardworking, simple woman and loved spending time with her family. She will be truly missed. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son Michael Robinson and brother Ernest Detrick.
Survived by her son Don & Marilyn Robinson of Versailles: grandchildren Angie & Doug Cox of Greenville; Chad & Jennifer Robinson of Brookville; Bryan Robinson of Brookville; Craig & Amber Robinson of Rossburg; Brent & Stephanie (Prescott) Robinson of Ansonia; Kenny Robinson: 39 great and great-great grandchildren.
Friends may call on the family on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 9:00-11:00 AM at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM with Pastor Todd Reish presiding. Burial to follow at Byron Cemetery, Fairborn, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to EverHeart Hospice if desired.
