The Lady Wave golf team traveled to Echo Hills to play Piqua on September 14th.
The Lady Wave won the match 214-217. The Wave were led by Sofia Chrisman with a 49; Vera Cox with a 50; Callee Moore with a 56 and Reese Addington with a 59. Also playing for the Wave was Ava Good with a 77.
Piqua was led by Aubree Carroll with a 48; Braylin Shaner with a 54; Emery Kulhman with a 57 and Izzy Thoma with a 58. Also playing for Piqua were Jenna Snyder with a 62 and Marin Funderberg with a 70.
Sofia’s 49 was a personal best for 9 holes and Reese’s 59 was also a personal best for 9 holes.
The Lady Wave Golf team traveled to Cassel Hills Golf Course to play Vandalia Butler.
The Lady Wave fell 248-218. The Wave were led by Vera Cox with a 51; Sofia Chrisman with a 57; Reese Addington with a 66; Kennedy Schoen and Ava Good both had a 74.
Butler was led by Shelby Drinnon with a 52, Mackenzie Kolhreiser with a 53; Charli Price with a 55 and Summer D’Angelo with a 58.
We played the back nine at Cassel Hills which is very different than the front nine. The back nine is very hilly and tougher to play. The girls played well considering that they had never seen the back nine.
