James “Jim” C. Hardy, Sr., age 67 of Greenville, Ohio passed away suddenly on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Davita Dialysis Center in Greenville, Ohio at 3:17 PM. Born in Greenville, Ohio on May 16, 1955 he was a son to Virgil Hardy and the late Mildred (Downey) Hardy. Jim had worked as a semi-truck driver for many years, primarily with Ben Capo Bianco Company in Fairfield, Ohio. He loved to trade and barter; and enjoyed tinkering with computers and cars. He loved his family more than anything; and we will miss his kind heart and spirit. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his best friend, “Alex” his faithful furry companion.
Survived by his father Virgil Hardy of KY: children Janie (Hardy) Steen of Greenville; James C. Hardy, Jr. & Carissa of Greenville: granddaughters Lola Marie Steen; Ava Sue-Kay Steen: siblings Glen Hardy, Sr. of Greenville; Beverly & Joe Cooper of Stanford, KY; Pat & Terry Walston of Lebanon, KY: as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
