The Darke County Animal Shelter has a new dog available for adoption.
She got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and is heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.
The Shelter’s visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday only by appointment. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645.
Smiley came to us as a stray so our knowledge about her is very limited and what we do know, is ONLY from what we have observed. We believe Smiley is a 5-year-old, female Terrier mix. Smiley lives up to her name, all smiles and is an affectionate little girl! Smiley doesn’t seem to really care for playing or eating treats, all she is wanting is all your love and someone to cuddle with her. Smiley walks great on a leash and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Smiley did great for her nail trim, bath and exam where she weighs in at 40 lbs
