DECEMBER 20, 1962 – FEBRUARY 27, 2023
William P. “Bill” Lucy age 60, loving father and grandfather of Greenville passed away at 10:20 am Monday, February 27, 2023, at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus.
Bill was born December 20, 1962, in Fairfield to the late Jesse & Rebecca (Unrue) Lucy. Bill was also preceded in death by a brother, Jim Lucy; and nephew, Kenny Lucy.
Bill is survived by his children Terri Lucy of Greenville, Christina Lucy of Columbus and Blake Hilderbrand of Rossburg; grandson, Hunter Brown; partner, Cindy Wright; brothers & sisters-in-law, Larry & Jill Lucy of Michigan and Dave & Karyl Lucy of South Carolina; and sister & brother-in-law, Joyce Lucy & Frank Tabora of Germany.
Bill was a metal fabricator at Kennedy Manufacturing in Van Wert. Bill was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds. He enjoyed bowling, gardening and working.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
