again the big winner
More than half of CNO’s top 30 stories for 2013 focus on sports

Darke County loves its sports. From football and basketball to Wave
softball, 16 of CNO’s top 30 stories get reader kudos on local sports.
Two stories exceeded 10,000 page views. The top story with 10,464
reader hits was on the Tri-Village girls basketball’s introduction by
George Starks. The second top story, with 10,356 reader hits was Lyn
Bliss’ photo essay on T-Shirts at the Great Darke County Fair.
Almost reaching the 10K mark, was "A three point winner vs. a big time
loser," by George Starks, with 9,712 hits. Rural life in the farming community
was once again apparent with the fourth highest number of views: 2013
Ohio State University’s Farm Science Review. Then it was back to sports
with the photo introduction of the new Lady Wave Stadium.
The CNO Top 30 ranks all stories getting more than 1,000 views. Over a
third of them had more than 2,000 views.
Once again, CNO thanks its readers for their support in 2013. It’s been
a great year with the site’s 4,000,000 page views arriving in December,
less than three years after its first appearance.
