Marilyn S. “Lyn” Liebherr, 85 of Wayne Lakes, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday September 28, 2022 at 1:10 PM at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. She was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana, the daughter of the late George T. and Mary M. (Whitecotton) Reynolds.
Lyn was a graduate of Wilbur Wright High School and attended the Dayton Art Institute in Dayton, Ohio. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, artist, friend, and animal lover. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Dayton, Ohio, and had attended Fort Jefferson United Methodist Church, Fort Jefferson, Ohio.
She was preceded by her parents and her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” Liebherr, whom she married on September 3, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio.
She is survived by her sons, R. Michael (Mary) Liebherr of Washington, MO, G. Mark (Cathy) Liebherr of Troy, Ohio, her grandchildren, Robert Michael (Lindsay) Liebherr, Jon Ryan (Madison) Liebherr, George Robert Liebherr, and Dannielle Nicole (Max) Muir, her great grandson, Anderson S. Liebherr
Services will be held on Wednesday October 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at 2:00 PM in New Maple Grove Cemetery, Port William, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Darke County Humane Society.
