Edison Community College to Receive Capital Funding
H.B. 497 allocates nearly $1.3 million for Edison - COLUMBUS—State Representative Richard N. Fish Winterkill Possible as Ice Retreats from Ohio's Ponds and Lakes
COLUMBUS, OH - The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) is reminding people that fish kills may be common in ponds and small lakes as the ice and snow of the past few months gives way to spring. Winter fish die-offs caused by long periods of heavy ice and snow cover on small waters are referred to as winterkills. GREENVILLE – Kiwanis of Greenville fed pancakes, sausage and apple sauce to a steady stream of hungry customers March 15 at its annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser. The event was held at First United Methodist Church of Greenville. Bowl for Kids Sake 2014 generates $33,000 for local BBBS
The bowling event that was held on Friday, March 7th & Saturday, March 8 at Bel-Mar Lanes in Sidney Treaty Lanes in Greenville with nearly 50 bowling teams consisting of 4 to 5 people in attendance. Sinclair UAS Students Awarded Internships at Air Force Research Laboratory’s Discovery Lab
Three students from Sinclair Community College’s Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) certificate program were selected to receive paid research internships at the AFRL Discovery Lab operated at the Tec^Edge Innovation and Collaboration Center, a partnership of AFRL and Wright Brothers Institute in Riverside. 9-1-1 Dispatchers Train for Mental Crisis Calls
Thirteen 9-1-1 dispatchers from Darke, Miami and Shelby counties, including Sidney and Greenville police dispatchers, completed an all-day training seminar in recognizing and dealing with emergency calls from persons with mental illness or in crisis.
